YEAR 4 SCIENCE Unit 3 Animals (4º curso)

Estimados padres o tutores:

Vuestro hijo/a está trabajando la Unidad 3 de su libro de Conocimiento del Medio Macmillan Natural and Social Science 4. La unidad se titula Animals y en ella el niño/a va a:


•    entender que los animales se clasifican según distintos criterios y aprender algunos de estos criterios
•    aprender a reconocer algunos animales mamíferos y sus características
•    aprender a reconocer algunas aves y sus características
•    aprender más características de los peces y anfibios y comprender la metamorfosis
•    aprender a clasificar los invertebrados en grupos y nombrar algunas de sus características
•    aprender a reconocer algunos reptiles y sus características
•    escuchar, leer y comprender una historia sobre los animales invertebrados
•    escribir un texto sencillo sobre los animales que viven en su zona

Además, investigará sobre los animales que habitan cerca de su localidad y dirá el chant de los mamíferos (Mammals) para practicar el vocabulario clave de la unidad. Animad a vuestro hijo/a a escucharlo en el CD y a recitarlo con vosotros y luego, mirad juntos el Picture dictionary en las páginas 154 y 155 del libro.
